MOST of the TV's I have in my house are on freestanding TV stands. They are available as tabletop models for smaller TVs like this one or floor standing models for larger TVs. I found mine on Amazon for this size TV. It cost less than $30 for a tabletop stand. The tabletop stand has a flat square solid base that is heavy enough so the TV won't tip over without using a lot of force.
