Any present day LCD TV screen (i.e, not plasma or OLED) will loose some picture fidelity when not viewed straight on, both laterally and vertically. The degree depends on the type of TV screen used; an IPS screen has more good viewing ane than a PVA screen (as a reference). I don't know what kind of LCD screen is used in this TV, however, I can tell you it WILL loose picture quality with increasing angle of viewing off center. So, if you angle the set so you are looking straight on from your viewing position, you should be OK with the picture, as the relative viewing angle is still straight on. But, if that angle of view changes, then there will be a limited area where the viewing quality is acceptable.
