“I know this is a 720p TV. If I fed a 1080 feed from my computer to it, will the TV down scale the picture to 720p for output, but still show my output screen as 1080 in my computer? I figure it HAS to do this with all TV channels that are 1080 anyway.”

• Yes. The two different screens will be treated as two different screens. You might have to fiddle with the video settings.
