“I would like to use this TV to display pictures. If I plug a USB stick with jpg's on it, will this TV cycle through them and display them? If so, are there any controls for cycling, like display time, fade-in, fade-out, etc?”

You can connect a USB flash drive to your TV to view compatible JPEG pictures. Select Start Slideshow to display the photos. There are no controls for cycling.
