“When the TV is put on pause, the red light will come on after a couple minutes which then you have to turn back on with remote. Is there a way to bypass or set up to come on automatically when TV goes on or stay on all the time? Thank you”

• The only way that the sound bar will turn on and off automatically is with the optical Port if you use the optical once you turn the TV on until you turn the TV off the sound bar will stay on the sound bar will go off when you turn the TV off because the optical and reads no signal but from what I understand and what I've learned it does not cut off until you cut the TV off so and you get much better sound quality as well with the optical in.

• This is normal behavior, if the Soundbar does not detect a sound signal, it will automatically turn off.
