“Description says "includes power adapter" but no adapter in the pictures. If one is included, does it provide +12V to the enclosure to support SSDs that require +12V? Or are only SSDs that require only +5V supported?”

this is a 5v only enclosure, the larger 3.5 in ones may have 12v, but this is for the laptop sized 2.5" drives that only use 5v.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only power it receives is through the USB cable, which is a USB-C. It is compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 via an included adapter. Supports 2.5" HDD/SSD SATA hard drives. I could not find any info on voltage capabilities or restrictions.
