“On the dial (with numbers 1-7), where have you found that it operates best?”

I have it set on 7. It will cool initially at 5 over a few days, but I really like my drinks cold, so I keep it there. Freezer portion seems to be functioning well there too.

5 seems to work best on mine. Cold without freezing everything
