“I plan using this with an inverter on my boat, when not hooked up to shore power, but I understand it draws more wattage on start up. I have a new 115v, 300W pure sine inverter. Will that be sufficient, or do I need higher wattage. What is the minimum?”

• I had a 500 watt Bestek inverter. It did not work, found out that inverter has no surge and shuts down anything over 500 watts. Looking for a compatible inverter now... maybe a 700 watt.
