If it fits that's fine with 1" in back but the heat removed from the fridge must go somewhere. That cabinet needs to be ventilated on the back wall and toward the top since the warm air will rise from the coils. Should have some space on bottom to draw in cool air. If not you will make it work harder (be less efficient) and make the condenser pump fail sooner.
