I sleep literally right next to mine near the head of my bed — I use it for baby bottles in the middle of the night — and it is ridiculously silent. It doesn’t run that often, but when I do happen to notice it, it’s just a very soft sort of frosty noise as it starts to cycle.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does sound like a coffee maker. Mind makes a grinding noise, may return it. If it was a normal buzz it would be fine, but the grinding noise goes up and down making it more noticeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Noisier than I expected. Turns on and off continously. If it is just on all the time making humming noise it wouln't bother me as much. It isn't white noise which constantly irritates me. Also makes gurgling and hissing sound from time to time. It is only 100 bucks. I shouldn't expect high end quality I guess.
