• It depends on your older TV's capabilities. It has to have enough output power for the speakers. Otherwise, you will need a separate preamplifier/amplifier (a combination of both) to connect between the TV and speakers, or powered speakers (amplifier is built-in). Look at the manual, if you can find it (either in your house or online. We out here have no way of knowing what kind of TV you have.

• You can get wires with RCA plugs on one end.
