“If my TV connects to this receiver through my headphone jack on TV where do the RCA connectors get plugged into on this receiver? Sorry but I'm not a techie guy.”

That's not the way to make the connection. You will use the RCA audio out behind the TV to connect to the audio in (also RCA) at the back of this unit. You need a stereo RCA -RCA cable.
