“Will this accept a cable card? I know it says it is "digital ready" but I think I still have to have the mini digital box from my cable company.... unless it will accept a cable card.”

I believe "digital ready" refers to the fact that it has a built-in digital tuner. It is a standard item on TVs nowadays. I have mine hooked up to an antenna and it pulls in local digital broadcasts. Until recently, a digital tuner equipped TV could also be connected to cable without having a cable box, but the cable companies now scramble their signals (around here at least) so you need a set top box or cable card to decode. There is no cable card slot on this TV.
