You'll need a DTV wireless genie mini (i.e. another box) and a good wifi signal to do that. Mini is usually around $99, plus the monthly fee for an additional box. Also, fyi- adding any new equipment will automatically extend your DTV contract 24 mos. All that out of the way... I do just that and it's totally worth it as you can watch anywhere in the house where you have a wifi good signal. I regularly watch in the garage, pantry, master closet, even on a rooftop deck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thats a DirectTV question. If they have an app that works on wifi, then you probably would not need a box. Verizon FIOS has a similar setup where you can download an app and not use a box. You just need to have a strong enough signal for streaming
