Both aerial and cable tv connect to the tv through the same connection. 
If your cable is connected to an aerial antenna, choose aerial, and from there you can setup the channels. 
Otherwise you should connect your cable to the cable box provided by your provider such as spectrum, then connect from the box to tv , this doesn't require a setup on your tv because you can only use your providers remote to watch cable channels.

If you hook up an Antenna go to Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan. If you connect a Cable Box with an HDMI cable, just select the HDMI input.
