• You can pair the Xfinity remote to your TV by pushing Xfinity button, select settings icon all the way on the right, scroll down to Remote Settings, select voice remote pairing, follow instructions.

• yes, just use the xfinity remote after you set the tv to channel 3 or 4. That's with the tv input set to cable not antenna.
