“I have Directv and want to know if my Directv remote can be synced so that I only have to use that remote to turn on & off and change channels? I assume I would have to use the tv remote for any apps?”

• Use the Fire TV Edition remote to control the TV and the DirecTV remote to control the DirecTV box.
