“By using analog audio output red & white holes (I'm not a techie!) for headset connection can I still hear sound from the tv? My husband needs headsets for higher volume & I need a very low volume, but we need to be able to both hear at the same time.”

The red & white holes on the TV are inputs, not outputs. Connect a 3.5 mm to RCA cable to the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the TV.
