According to the energy guide it uses 52.2 kwh per year at 5 hours a day. 52.2k/1825 hours equal 28.6 watts power consumption.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV and use it as both PC monitor and a TV. It is AC powered and cannot use a battery. That is, it uses 120VAC and has an AC-to-DC power supply internally. You can use just about any inverter that will convert DC to AC trated for this output amperage, but some inverters have unfiltered square wave output. ANY UPS for backing up a computer will have enough volt-amps for your needs. These are rated for both the CPU, the monitor, and then some. The UPS battery will be adequate for this TV. A 24 inch TV will draw ~1-1.2 ampere at 120VAC. -Daniel
