Yes, both do work. Though it may be best to replace the remote with a similar or exact copy bluetooth remote (especially from Insignia), I've found that a multi-device universal infrared remote from Phillips (it doesn't have to be this specific brand) will do just fine, although the Alexa voice function will not be available unlike on the bluetooth replacement.
