If the picture is cutting off on the left and right sides, it’s usually due to the aspect ratio or picture size settings. Try going to Settings > Display & Sounds > Picture > Picture Size (or Aspect Ratio) and set it to Normal, Just Scan, or Fit to Screen to ensure the full image displays correctly. If you’re using an external device, also check that device’s display settings to match the TV’s resolution.
