“Where is the audio output on this TV? I see audio in but not audio out and the specs say it has audio out.”

I guess it depends on what you need for audio.. as HDMI is bidirectional high def sound, this tv also has an optical out, it does not have RCA (the Red and white round connectors) but the others do work as audio out.. not sure that helps or not, but both the HDMI and the Optical can be used for audio out.
