How do you use vlc for fire? Is it already on the tv? Do you have to install it? If so how? I want to be able to play all types of video files through USB. I was told you have to use VLC for fire. When I plug in USB will it auto go to VLC for fire or ? null

To search for the app go Home and press the D-Pad left to search for the app. 
Once you get the app just launch it and follow the on-screen instructions.
