• Hi Martha, You can access the different inputs from the home screen or through the settings, then you can select the input depending on the type of connection you are using. Insignia Support Miguel C.

• You have to use your input. Hit the input, go to whichever input you have your DVD player hooked up to (HDMI1,HDMI2)
