NO! this model NS-24D310NA21 does NOT support MP4 or any other videos via the USB port. I wish I'd read the specs on the box where it says "USB (Supports JPEG)". I need to return it and reconsider.

I need to know how much power it draws so I can run it with with a sine-wave power station at my convention exhibit. Knowing its draw will let me calculate the size of battery I need to rent to power it for 10 hours. (No they're not providing booths with juice there.) Neither INSIGNIA, Best Buy, the manual, the markings on the set or the box want to fees up to that (though I'm sure it's under 60w). I *did* buy the set and was able to download VLC Media Player *FOR ANDRIOD" (an essential tidbit of info that few are pointing out) from Amazon and got it to play an mp4 from a USB drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it should work fine
