- Answer This TV does not have a built-in DVD player. You can hook up an external Blu-ray/DVD player into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV using an HDMI cable.

QuestionI purchased this TV for my mother in a nursing home. Installed it, connected to the cable connection on the wall and works great. We left the TV on and left the room. Came back and heard the TV, but the screen was dark. Why is this happening?
