"Minimum Operating Temperature" means the lowest temperature at which the device should be used/operated. It does not mean the lowest temperature inside the compartment, which I believe is under 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Not sure about the temperature but I had juices all the way in the back of the fridge with it turned all the way cold and they were kind of like a slushie
