Yes. It is cULus listed device. Suitable for US and Canadian market.

Im not sure about UL approved. People from other countries live well more than here. Our food, water, work places & schools are approved still some people get sick from it. Relax and enjoy life now.It appears to keep frozen food frozen. Im very pleased with this purchase.
