“Should this fridge have a cover in the back to cover the insides of the fridge? I just noticed that everything is exposed in the back (see photo) There was no backing to cover the bottom of the back”

• I don't have the fridge in front of me- is in my daughter's dorm room, but I believe it is the same as yours. I think this is the way it is supposed to be.

• No. Mine is open too. I think it’s for circulation. Over the years I have had a few small refrigerators ( different brands) and they all have that opening.

• No, this unit does not have a cover on the back. It is normal for the back to be exposed. There is no backing to cover the bottom, this is normal.
