• I had to lower the volume on my phone and put the volume up on the stereo and it worked

• Sounds like a defective cassette, id go back to the customer service desk at any best buy and have them test it for you

• Close out you music app on ur phone I noticed after waiting a while maybe a mile or so it'll start playing Yesterday I plugged in another device worked fine It's not the adapter it's ur Device
