“How is the picture with non-HD service? This will be a bedroom TV. Digital cable in the bedroom, but no HD box. Wondering if this will still produce a decent picture.”

• It's a decent quality without HD. I have some standard channels on my cable lineup, but you will see as 4:3 ratio. You can press a button on the TV remote that will expand the picture to full screen, but it looks distorted. Hope this helps!

• It should be fine. I am using a digital antenna with mine. This is the only tv in my house not hooked up to DirecTV, and it's working quite well with a great picture!

• You will notice a difference without an HD box especially if you have HD on other TV's. You also won't get as many channels with just digital.
