“Is this refrigerator safe to transport on its side? If so, how long must it stand upright prior to plugging it in?”

• We had it on its side for the ride home... we waited a day just because we weren't sure how it was stored.

• The manual says to transport it upright. It also says to stand the refrigerator upright for four (4) hours before plugging it in, in case it was "transported incorrectly".
