This is simply for Type A ports, it does not have a HDMI plug in, you should find another hub such as the "Hyper - 7-Port Universal USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Laptops - Space Gray" as long as you have a USB-c port that can transfer data and power.

I have not tried to rig another dongle to it.  It may not support the power needed that the adapter hub needs.
