Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All USB plugs have a rating of typically 0.5 milliamps. There is one or two typically on a computer that is blue inside of it indicating that it is a higher amperage. You need a 2 milliamp or 4 amp, and that's why it's so hot. It's being suffocated on the amount of juice that the outlet is allowed, not the four-way, but what is plugged into it. Here's a picture of mine. It is not blue, but it is clearly labeled 5 and 10 amps. These are the ones you want to be plugged into.
