• Insignia type A connectors may show blue so you may think its 3.0. However, with the VAST MAJORITY of Insignia's cords, the hardware inside is linited to usb 2.0. My guess is its actually only 2.0. Every time i buy an insignia usb cord, the boxes never tell us what it is, 2 or 3. But the mauals all say its usb 2.0. I did some research and apparently the hardware inside your enclosures, drives, cables, etc are usb 2.0 limited. Its pretty much misdirection in advertising
