“The TV will only show that it is set at 720p. All possible remedies have been tried. The resolution is not able to be changed. Advertised as 1080p and is labeled on the box as 1080p. Don't understand. I have 3 other Insignia TV and the work fine.”

Hi! The resolution of the image is determined by the device that sends the signal. For example, if you have a cable box, an Xbox or a computer (as the signal sender), then you will need to adjust the resolution on any of those devices so you can see it displayed on your TV.
