QuestionI bought this tv and an LG DVD player that does not need wifi. I want to use the DVD player without wifi. I hooked it up but cant get any sound . the tv sound works for just the tv. Any idea how to get sound when the DVD player is hooked up?

QuestionDoes this TV come with a stand? I dont have the space(like a cabinet or table) for it to sit on legs and i dont have the means to install a wall mount

- Answer Gxd BLESS you folks who took the time to answer this question here. Once you realize that the legs go on at an ANGLE... NOT SQUARE to the TV.... it's pretty simple. Please, BestBuy... do a better job of illustrating this in your Quick Install guide. It IS NOT CLEAR at all. FWIW, I'm used to installing complex electro-mechanical assemblies (I'm a computer engineer) and I was completely and totally at a loss on how to put the darn legs on. THANK YOU BestBuy answers!

QuestionI see that this TV has an ATSC QAM digital tuner. Will this TV decode Mpeg4 encoded CATV video channels over this tuner? I have ran into issues where sometimes these tuners will only decode Mpeg2 video. (this will be used in a hotel setting).

QuestionBought this TV for my 93 y/o mother to replace her older tv which quit working. Unfortunately this TV has an unusual and unpleasant odor when it’s on which after several weeks still lingers. Will the smell ever go away? It’s currently unusable for her.

- Answer Don’t notice any smell, but with electronics could be something that was incorrectly assembled or excess wires or plastics getting heated up. I would recommend exchanging it.
