• A:Answer Yes. I plugged mine into the wall with no issues. My home was built in 2016 in Humble, Texas. I did NOT have to purchase a special adapter or anything of that sort. This little freezer WORKS GREAT! I encourage you to buy one. It also has that little blue/neon light at bottom (outside front lower right hand) indicating the power is on. So you are aware.

• A:Answer I do not know the exact weight, but I am a 40 yr old female and I was able to lift this buy the straps and slide in my ford explore. When I got home I lifted it out and placed it in my garage so I would think it shouldn't be a problem for an average size man. It wasn't heavy at all.
