• We have it connected to a mesh router connected to a cable modem two rooms away, but on the same floor. There was no problem with the wireless connection & plenty of signal strength. OTOH last year our main TV had connection problem, being on a separate floor but otherwise at a comparable horizontal distance which produced more attenuation. This was a main consideration in buying the mesh system to remedy this.
