- Answer You most likely have the comfort button on. Turn it off and you should be able to set the humidity level. They explain this particular item very poorly in the manual. I had the same issue. Good Luck!

- Answer It uses a regular garden hose. Don't use one of those expandable type of hoses. Not sure why but the expandable type didn't work for me.

QuestionCan I turn off the humidity feature? When I have wet carpet I want it to run and not turn off. I used my parents this past weekend and it's not humid in my basement so it would not suck up the water from the carpet.

- Answer You can turn on the continuous mode and it will run non-stop. Put a drain hose on and it will run until you have a power failure. Hope that helps.

- Answer UPDATE: It filled up the first bucket I had the hose connected but after I dumped out the water and put the bucket back in, it started draining through the hose. So it is working as it is supposed to now.
