- Answer I don't know if this might answer your question... I don't have regular cable I streamed thru Xfinity app but there is a tab for the hdmi cords so I figure you can plug it in

- Answer If you just want to watch TV connect an antenna to it, then click the picture of aTV to the left of the volume on the remote. Then you will have lots of shows. Make sure you scan in all the programs first. It is all in the booklet.

QuestionWe currently have Uverse for our tv service which has a cable box that plugs into tv with an hdmi cord. We want to move tv onto mantle. Does the cable box need to be plugged into the tv to still get the uverse channels ?

- Answer I have a 128GB flash drive (formatted FAT32) plugged into mine for movies and pictures - but I haven't tried a USB hard drive yet. I use the X-plore app to view content (one of the beauties of the Fire TV is that it's an open source Android TV box that can run thousands of apps).
