When sending audio to an external receiver/amp/speakers, will the audio output level be adjustable from the remote? I'm NOT asking if the tv can control the receiver, only vary the low level audio output level as opposed to it being a fixed output level. null

That was NOT at all what I asked. I asked if the remote modulates the audio out level or if it's fixed.

If you need to change the digital audio format, go to the Home menu, select Settings, then select Display & Sounds. Select Audio Output, then select Digital Audio Format and change the setting to PCM or Dolby Digital.If you want to turn off your TV speakers, go the Home menu, select Settings, then select Display & Sounds. Select Audio Output, then select TV Speakers and change the setting to OFF.
