The USB A end will fit into the computer and the printer if you have the option on them. But the other side is only for type C fitting components.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One end of the cable will fit into the computer USB slot, but the other end to the printer MUST be able to accept the new USB-C connector. I don't know which printer would accept the USB-C connector. This particular cable is probably too short to be useful anyway, even if the printer accepts the USB-C connector. You'll probably need a 3-6 foot cable.
