“If installing inside of a cabinet how much side and top space necessary? The back is open and there is 6 - 8 inches to the wall”

It is recommended to allow five inches of space between the back and sides of the wine cooler.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've installed mine in a mini bar and there isn't any space on the sides. I made sure it had the 5 inches needed behind to exhaust the heat. The unit itself is running exactly the same as before. It doesn't get warm on the sides. I've had no problems with my installation and it's been over a year this way.
