Yes, this is the right cable. It also works with a Kindle that has a micro-HDMI port. I took my device to Best Buy to test it, because the one I ordered from Amazon was the wrong one.

You should probably look into screen sharing options as most newer smartphones do this. I know my S8 connects to my Samsung Smart TV with no problem. If I am watching something on my phone, I can share it to my TV simply because they are both on the same WiFi network. Try that out rather than using a cable. It's a lot easier.

Please try again later.this cable is used for connecting your PC or Mac directly to your internet router for best internet connection. for example, your lap top in your room doesn't hav good internet speed bcuz of a weak wifi signal. this cable replaces that issue for best internet speed. try to look for a HDMI cable that's compatible w/your tv and phone (you may need a third device in between)
