This is our 2nd Air Fryer. The first one said to pre-heat for 4 minutes and this one does not have a pre-heat setting. I haven't used pre-heat for some of the things I have made, i.e., fries, hamburgers, just to give you some idea. Works out fine without the pre-heat. Good luck with your new Air Fryer. It's really very nice!

No need to preheat this air fryer as the heat that you have preset  is almost instantaneous.

Nah, perheat is not required with airfryers.
