“Brand new to air fryers and trying to figure out if I need to preheat or not. Many recipes say pre-heat but I can't find anything in the instructions indicating a way to preheat this fryer. Does it really matter or is it just a trial and error thing?”

This is our 2nd Air Fryer. The first one said to pre-heat for 4 minutes and this one does not have a pre-heat setting. I haven't used pre-heat for some of the things I have made, i.e., fries, hamburgers, just to give you some idea. Works out fine without the pre-heat. Good luck with your new Air Fryer. It's really very nice!
