Not a good idea. We put it in our garage and 2 units have malfunctioned in 5 months. They freeze in fridge and thaw in freezer. It is possible that this is because of low temps in Ohio garage, however our garage is well insulated and stays above freezing all year. Our previous cheap micro fridge never froze stuff in 7 years so who knows why this model does it. But for your application I would choose something that is frost free.
