By simply leaving the wire plugged into a wall devoid of heavy and abusive use,why does it break so quickly? I've purchased 3 for my office, bedroom & living room. All have broken within 1 week to six months. null

Kevin I have one also and when I have it plugged into the wall in my bedroom it ends up turning a certain way and breaking up at the top where the plug in piece is just from wear and tear

Sorry your having issues. The first one I bought lasted three years. I've had the second one for a few months and have no problems.

I had the same problem, and I found that as I used the device while plugged in, I would kink the cable at the point that it connects to the device. I used a spring from an ink pen and wound it around the cable at that point and held it in place with a small rubber band. Has worked like a charm! Hope this helps!
