Make sure that your charging cord is MFI certified. Some off brands simply don’t work well. The other possibility is that your cord has broken simply due to wear and tear during normal usage.

Also possible that the actual wall plug you have the cable plugged into is failing. 1st try a different lightning cable and see if your problem is resolved. If not, consider getting another charging block or plug the phone into a different USB charging station.
