Does this cord work for the iPad mini null

It should all new Apple devices have the same outlet size, phone, iPad.

I bought it for my Ipda Mini and it works just as well as original Apple cable

Yes, I have a black one in my kitchen for my mini.

This will not work for Apple products.. only Android products
